I am recruiting for a strong Head Chef for an independent proprietor to run a restaurant on the outskirts of Northampton. The restaurant is a part of a small boutique hotel. As a head chef you will be a running a busy; already established kitchen with a strong team of 2x sous chef and 2x CDP’s. It serves quality & fresh food ingredients dishes. The hotel has a long service reputation with many of the customers being regulars.
As a Head chef you will be in charge of the rota’s, food orders, stock taking, managing the kitchen staff including KP’s.
Hours : 50h per week, mixture of splits / straight shifts
Salary £36 – £40k depending on experience
Tips: £50 – £100 per so minimum of £300 per month
As a Head chef you will also receive a bonus based on GP, a potential earning of another £500 per month
It is a privately owned business where the pub/ restaurant is important part of dining experience for 22 rooms, serving a quality food, all cooked from local produce. Through the week the restaurant caters for business clientele so it is important to present specials each day. Weekends are for families and leisure guests. Sunday service is 12 – 5pm. Last service during the week is 8.30pm.
