Salary: circa £34.7k – £39.2k (£14.75-£16.75 per hour) PLUS benefits PLUS overtime. Overtime rates between £19.18 and £21.78 per hour.

The role:
• HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
• This is a full time permanent position based in Pontefract.
• Your rota will be Monday to Friday – rotating shifts – 06:00 till 14:30 & 13.00 till 21.30
• You will be working every other Saturday.
• Working for a very busy main dealer, you will be predominantly working on HGV class 1 and class 2 vehicles. You may be required, from time to time, to work on Vans also.

The candidate:
• You have a minimum of an NVQ level 3 and some previous HGV experience.
• You may be an experienced HGV Tech – desirable.
• You will be able to work within a team or on your own.
• You must be able to provide references and/or referee details from previous roles.
• You will have excellent attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills.
• You must have inspection history experience.
• Experience in a main dealer advantageous.
• HGV Drivers with in date licence – desirable.
• You shall be over the age of 18 for insurance purposes.
